ISSN 2316-5278: The first number of Cognitio was published in 2000. Since then, Cognitio has established a solid international reputation, aside from being the most important Brazilian journal for publishing works related to the philosophical tradition of Pragmatism. Texts resulting from conferences and communications presented at the International Meetings on Pragmatism have also been regularly published in Cognitio.

Cognitio: Revista de Filosofia is published once a year and adopts continuous publication of articles as soon as they are approved.
