OBJECTIVE:

This research gruoup seeks to concentrate an research that correlates the logical principle of pragmatism with the traditional epistemological problems of the history of ideas. It also investigates the logical implications of pragmatism and the correlations between pragmatism, Logic and theory of knowledge. In particular, it encourages the study of authors who are at the roots of classical pragmatism, such as Kant. It also aims to study Semiotics as Logic, treating the theory of signs in the light of pragmatism. This line also promotes the translation of texts by Charles Peirce, many of them unpublished, still in manuscript form, obtained from Peirce
Edition Project from Indiana University.
