International Meetings on Pragmatism

25 YEARS OF INTERNATIONAL MEETINGS ON PRAGMATISM

The International Meetings on Pragmatism (IMPs) have been considered one of the most important international references in the exhibition of research, holding debates and disseminating works on the philosophical current called Pragmatism, with an emphasis on classical pragmatism born in the nineteenth century in the United States, no despite also contemplating its contemporary approaches. On the other hand, they have promoted a fertile dialogue with the History of Philosophy in the areas of metaphysics, epistemology, logic, philosophy of language and semiotics, ethics and aesthetics. IMPs are aimed at professors and graduate students in philosophy and related fields, as well as undergraduate students in philosophy and the humanities.
